Hogmanay (Silvester) and New Year in Edinburgh 2017 

Hogmanay  is the Scots word for the last day of the year and is synonymous with the celebration of the New Year (Gregorian calendar) in the Scottish manner. It is normally followed by further celebration on the morning of New Year's Day (1 January).The origins of Hogmanay are unclear, but it may be derived from Norse and Gaelic observances. 


Rooms are available from Friday 29/12/2017 for the festive season. A minimum stay of 4 nights applies.  Currently we have the following rooms still available: 

1 x Double Ensuite (1 x double bed  with  private bathroom, wifi, full breakfast included)

1 x Single Ensuite (1 x Single bed  with  private bathroom, wifi, full breakfast included)

Rooms with shared facilities: 

1 x Twin room with shared toilet & bathroom (2 x single beds  with wifi, full breakfast included) Shared facilities on the same floor
